Webex App | Manage notifications for incoming calls

Webex App | Manage notifications for incoming calls

Overview

You can turn off the ringing sound and notification that pops up when someone is calling you directly or when you have a call pickup notification. You might want to do this if you don’t want to receive work calls on your mobile. Or maybe you don't want to be distracted when you're in a meeting.

change your calling notification settings on the desktop app

When you make changes they only apply to that device. For example, if you mute incoming call notifications on desktop, you'll continue to get notifications on mobile.

1

Open Webex and sign in.

2

Click Settings  on the navigation sidebar, and then go to Notifications > Calls.

3

Under Direct Calls section, and choose one of the following options for notifications:

  • Don't mute—enable audio and visual notifications

  • Always mute—disable audio and visual notifications

  • Only mute notifications when I'm in a meeting or on a call—disable audio and visual notifications when you're in a meeting or on a call

When you choose this option, you can also choose Automatically decline all incoming calls. Calls are declined on all your devices.

4

Under Direct calls ringtone, choose from the available ringtones.

If you have been setup by your administrator, you will have a Call Pickup section. Under Call pickup, choose your notifications.
